It was a cheesy lunch…

Yum!

My first cheesy post!

This was my lunch today (I’m not a big lunch eater, more a lunch snacker).

THIS is Chicago cheese with a chunk of thick lavosh-ish bread from our local Middle Eastern bakery, Baiz Market. It is a common cheese from they middle east.

Every time we go to this market, I buy this cheese.

It is super smooth, creamy, mild, moist (I tried SO hard to not write that word. SO hard.) with no aftertaste. It is made of cow’s milk and is semi-soft. I have heard that it is amazing fried and grilled, but when I get it home, I just want to eat it, not mess with it!

Karlacti and Karoun are the two big producers of it, so check your local grocery store or Middle Eastern market. At Baiz, we can buy chunks of it off a giant wheel in the deli. 🙂

FROMAGE!
